Present Perfect – lesson ideas for A1/A2 students

A few months ago I posted some lesson ideas for teaching the present perfect tense to B1 students (click the link if you are interested: Present Perfect – lesson ideas for B1 students ). Today it’s time for present perfect exercises for A1 students.
“Have you ever done it?” mingle activity
First, give out the worksheets and ask your students to complete the questions with the correct form of the verbs in brackets. After checking the answers with the whole class, have them go to seven individuals, ask each individual a different question and write down the answers. Finally, following the examples provided, have them complete Ex. 1 and 2.

“Hobbies and life experiences”
Give out the worksheets and ask your students to look at the six pictures which depict the hobbies of different people. In Ex. 1: Have the students read the short descriptions of the pictured people and write the correct name next to each description.
In Ex. 2: Have the students complete the sentences with the present perfect form of the verbs in brackets.
