English On The Way Bug-Speak Game,
… czyli druga gra planszowa na moim blogu. Tym razem gra służy powtórzeniu popularnych zwrotów i słownictwa, które stosujemy w rozmowie po angielsku. Mini dialogi wykorzystane tutaj zostały zaczerpnięte z ogólnodostępnych testów gimnazjalnych i próbnych testów gimnazjalnych, tak więc zamiast sięgać do kolejnego testu i milionowej w tym roku kserówki, pozwól swoim uczniom zagrać w grę z przeróżnymi “bugs”, które wniosą ze sobą wiedzę, umiejętności i zabawę jednocześnie. Polecam na lekcje typu “mam zastępstwo” oraz te czerwcowe, kiedy wszyscy już myślami są na wakacjach.
Teaching Notes
This game is designed for Gimnazjum students who are about to take their final school exams. However, it can be used with any learners and at any time of the school year.
Included here are an A3 sized board (two parts) and a series of cards showing large versions of the various game fields and:
a) short dialogues which players must complete using the correct answer: A, B or C.
b) surprise sentences which do not carry any tasks but allow students to move forward or tell them to go backwards.
There is also a set of cards with the answers which should be stuck on the other side of their counterparts, so that students could turn over their cards to check for the correct answers.
How to play
Each group of players need a die and playing counters for every student. They can roll the die to decide who plays first. Each time a player moves, they are supposed to take the appropriate card and follow the instructions on it.
An exact number is needed to finish.
If possible, print the materials in colour and laminate them for durability. Enjoy 🙂
